Project Management – Part 2

This post is Part 2 of the post covering Project Management for Product Managers as part of the Product Management Toolkit Series. It should be read in conjunction with Part 1.

Part 1 covered the components of a Project Plan and had an illustration of a Product Launch where the same could be applied. While the use case was for a Product Launch, the model can be used for all Projects. This post shows the same Plan using a Gantt Chart. A Gantt Chart is a visually appealing tool for representing a Project and its tasks in terms of timelines. It gives a quick snapshot of the progress and areas to be focussed on.
